Automating AWS infrastructure with Terraform, building and deploying Python and Kubernetes apps, and learning all things cloud technology.
I'm a DevOps engineer based in rural Utah with a passion for cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. I enjoy building systems that are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.
Outside of work I run a homelab built on AWS Lightsail — Linux nodes with attached static IPs, orchestrated with Kubernetes via K3s and managed through Rancher. Everything is provisioned with Terraform, exposed securely via Cloudflare Tunnel, and monitored with Prometheus and Grafana. Console access is locked down with IAM Identity Center SSO.
When I'm not at the keyboard, I'm enjoying video games, good food, and traveling with my wife Megan.
A production-grade homelab running on AWS Lightsail nodes, provisioned with Terraform and orchestrated with Kubernetes via K3s, managed through Rancher. Exposed securely via Cloudflare Zero Trust Tunnel with no port forwarding, with console access locked down through IAM Identity Center SSO. Includes a monitoring stack with Prometheus, cAdvisor, and Grafana dashboards.
A lightweight Python QR code generation app containerized with Docker and deployed on Kubernetes via Minikube. Demonstrates a full container-to-cluster workflow.
I'm always open to talking about infrastructure, DevOps, or interesting projects. Feel free to reach out via email or find me on GitHub.
